Once you arrive, contact us or follow the arrival instructions we send before your stay. We pick up Shaheen Camp guests from Wadi Rum Visitor Centre for free and take you into the desert camp.

Don’t try to drive into the desert by yourself unless you have clear permission and the right vehicle. Desert tracks are not the same as normal roads. It’s easy to get stuck or lost.

Coming by rental car

Rental cars are a good choice if you’re doing a Jordan road trip. Many guests drive to Wadi Rum after visiting Petra, Aqaba, Amman, or the Dead Sea.
